Psychiatrist

We are looking for a Psychiatrist on behalf of a fast-growing healthcare organization specialized in psychiatry, non-invasive neuromodulation and other innovative treatment methods. The organization is active in Belgium and the Netherlands and welcomes patients from abroad. It offers neuromodulation as an alternative or complement to medication and psychotherapy. To support its further growth on the Belgian market, the organization wants to strengthen its medical team with a second psychiatrist.

As Psychiatrist, you play a key role in the growth of the organization in Belgium. You work closely with the organization’s lead physician in Belgium, initially under their supervision and gradually with increasing autonomy. You’ll have the opportunity to build your own practice step by step within a modern, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting medical consultations and intakes of new patients
• Prescribing and adjusting medication
• Developing neuromodulation treatment protocols
• Gradually building your own patient base, starting part-time
• Working closely with the supervising physician on clinical matters and neuromodulation
• Ensuring continuity of care for Belgian and international patients, including remote follow-up
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and therapists trained in neuromodulation techniques
• Contributing to the quality, consistency and growth of the clinical offering in Belgium

Profile:

• A medical degree with a specialization in psychiatry
• An active RIZIV/INAMI number and familiarity with the Belgian reimbursement framework
• Native Dutch speaker with fluent English; French is an asset
• A genuine interest in neuromodulation and technology in healthcare; experience with ECT, neuromodulation or interventional psychiatry is a plus
• Strong clinical insight and a patient-centred approach
• A communicative team player who communicates in a direct and clear way
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing healthcare environment
• Available to start part-time (minimum 2 days per week), with the ambition to expand the role over time
