Beyond the search

Young people

We believe our role is not only to connect talent and opportunity, but also to contribute to the long-term strength of the life sciences ecosystem.

We believe we have a role to play in strengthening the industries we serve by supporting talent at different stages of their careers, investing in future generations and helping people navigate the opportunities available to them.

At the same time, we see it as a responsibility to stay closely connected to the industry ourselves, continuously learning, engaging with new developments and understanding the trends shaping the future of life sciences.

Supporting talent

Supporting Talent at Every Stage

Our commitment to talent extends beyond recruitment. We believe in supporting people at different stages of their careers, from students and researchers exploring future opportunities to experienced professionals considering new directions.

We actively engage with universities, academic institutions and emerging talent, staying close to evolving trends across life sciences and related fields.

ORSI Academy and Fellowship Support

Supporting the next generation of scientists is a natural extension of what we do and an investment in the long-term strength of the industries we serve.

Team
Junior ORSI Fellowships

At HR One, we believe the future of life sciences starts with investing in exceptional talent early on. That is why we are proud to support the Junior ORSI Fellowship, an initiative that gives an outstanding young researcher the opportunity to spend the summer conducting research at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Through this programme, the selected fellow joins one of Boston's leading laboratories, gaining valuable hands-on experience at the forefront of scientific innovation.

BEAM

Through guest lectures, presentations, industry events and ongoing collaboration, we help students understand how their skills can translate into careers across life sciences, MedTech and other highly specialised environments.

We also support initiatives such as BEAM (Biomedical Engineering And More), a student organisation connecting biomedical engineering students from Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel with industry professionals. Through events such as Industry Day, we contribute to conversations that help students better understand the opportunities available across the sector.

Young MD Summit

Careers are rarely linear. Through initiatives such as the Young MD Summit, we support medical doctors who are exploring opportunities beyond clinical practice.

Young MD Summit
Presentation

Our involvement continues well beyond the early stages of a career. Through initiatives such as the Young MD Summit, we engage with medical doctors who are exploring career paths beyond clinical practice.

These sessions create space for open and honest conversations, where professionals share their experiences of transitioning into industry roles and discuss the wide range of opportunities available across life sciences, MedTech and healthcare.

By bringing together students, healthcare professionals, industry leaders and individuals who have successfully navigated similar transitions, we help people gain practical insights into the opportunities available across the sector and make more informed decisions about their future.

Staying connected to the industry is not simply about networking. It is about continuously learning, sharing knowledge and ensuring we remain informed and relevant in the rapidly evolving environments.

Industry Engagement and Learning

We regularly participate in conferences, industry events, job fairs and professional gatherings across the life sciences ecosystem.

These events help us stay close to emerging trends, scientific developments and the evolving needs of the market. They allow us to continuously learn, deepen our understanding of the industries we serve and build meaningful relationships across the sector.
By engaging with researchers, industry leaders, healthcare professionals and innovators, we gain valuable insights that help us better support our clients, advise candidates and anticipate the changes shaping the future of life sciences.

For us, staying connected to the industry is not simply about networking. It is about continuously learning, sharing knowledge and ensuring we remain informed and relevant in the rapidly evolving environments in which our clients operate.

A long-term perspective

For us, these initiatives are not separate from our work, they are a natural extension of it.

By staying connected to both early-career and experienced professionals, we strengthen the ecosystem we operate in and create more meaningful, long-term connections between people and opportunities.
