Patiënt Care Manager (Amsterdam)
Are you a persuasive communicator who loves the phone and wants to make a real difference for patients? Join a fast-growing international healthcare organization specialized in neurorehabilitation as Patient Care Manager, turning incoming interest into scheduled patient intakes.
We are looking for a Patient Care Manager on behalf of a fast-growing international healthcare organization specialized in neurorehabilitation, for its location in Amsterdam. Following recent marketing campaigns, patient demand has risen sharply, with dozens of new requests coming in every day. The Amsterdam team of around twelve people works from a brand-new, modern location, where you will collaborate closely with the manager and your colleagues on site.
As Patient Care Manager, you are the driving force behind patient intake. You call every incoming lead, explain the value of the treatment and make sure the physician’s schedule is filled. A conversation is a success when the intake with the physician is booked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calling new lead lists daily, with leads coming in through the website, email and especially social media
- Following up by email and calling again when initial phone contact isn’t successful
- Explaining the treatment and the science behind it, and convincing patients to schedule an intake with the physician
- Scheduling the physician’s intakes and consultations and keeping the agenda full
- Following up on leads and appointments and managing the planning
- Recording and tracking all activity in Excel, the clinic’s planning system
- Working closely with the manager and colleagues on site
Profile:
- Proven experience in telephone sales or inside sales, as well as in a medical secretariat or medical administration; a combination of both is a strong advantage
- Experience in medtech, the paramedical sector or psychiatry is preferred; knowledge of neuromodulation is a plus
- Able to explain a medical or scientific story clearly and reassuringly to patients
- Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English
- You enjoy calling, are goal-oriented and persistent, and know how to close appointments
- Service-minded, with a mature attitude
- Available at short notice as an independent professional
What’s on offer:
- An interim assignment of 3 months, with possible extension to 6 months or longer
- A key role in a fast-growing organization with a strong inflow of new patients
- A brand-new, modern workplace and a close-knit team in Amsterdam
- Meaningful work helping patients access neurorehabilitation care
- On-site work at least 4 days per week
