Job description
For a well-known pharmaceutical company, we’re searching for an Sr. Project Manager. The company is focused on innovating, reinventing, and optimizing existing medications to address important healthcare needs and deliver relevant improvements for patients, healthcare professionals and payors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of intellectual property rights from disclosure to protection which requires constant follow-up.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall projects management in specific therapeutic areas from drug discovery to registration, launch and routine commercial production, including:
•influential recommendation to Senior Management on TPPs, new indications, life cycle management, patent protection, business case
•optimizing short- and long-term value
•day-to-day follow-up, internal coordination and reporting for ongoing projects to insure seamless project implementation meeting defined deliverables •securing credibility and leadership towards Hyloris’ external development partners by proactive, empathic and assertive communication and knowledge
•contributing to Hyloris’ portfolio management in relationship with Supply Chain and Business Development in order to maximize short and long term value
MAIN TASKS
•For identified projects in specific therapeutic areas, manage and coordinate projects in order to maximize short and long term financial interests (TPPs, life cycle management, contractual terms, pricing..)
•Manage projects on a global basis :
•with support of concerned internal and external experts, define the technical program and associated plans
•assess project value/risks to facilitate allocation resources decision
•lead external partners and/or the internal project team to meet the targeted time, budget and specs
•coordinate commercial and technical operations
•assess patients population needs and market demand to design proper TPPs •Daily follow-up and implementation :
•communicate proactive information about all positive or negative elements affecting the evolution of a project. Propose possible measures to correct or minimize the impact of identified issues (timelines, costs, ..)
•gather accurate internal information and flag any deviation to plans to respective organizations
•Minimum Qualification: MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent •Minimum Experience: 10 years’ experience in drug development, project portfolio management and scientific/R&D program management
•Solid experience in commercial aspects (negotiation, terms and conditions, patent protection, business cases...)
•Languages: English (written and verbal) - French is an asset
