A Digital Imaging & Communication in Medicine (Dicom) Spin-off from a Walloon Hospital lacked the right frontman to move the company forward.

For the highly technical and expert position, HR One Group took the team to a training centre to know the software by heart. As such, they could screen their candidates on job technical knowledge in more than in-depth interviews.

After which the team mapped all rival and target companies via compound market research. Moreover, the team worked out a marketing and communication strategy to attract the right profiles.

Throughout the process, communication and close collaboration with the board was key. As expectations were shared, a structured and efficient search could be set up in order to find the right CEO for the open-source company.
