Senior PMO Manager
Job description
Manage & mature the Project Management Office (PMO).
Assist the EMEA departments budgeting forall PMO and related programs & projects.
Leads the Master Data Management team, responsible for the creation and maintenance of customer, vendor and Materials data.
Leads the team of Business Process Owners (BPO) and Experts (BPE) for Order to Cash (OTC) – Procure to Pay (P2P) – Record To Report (RTR) – Produce to Stock (PTS).
- Manage the Program & Project portfolios. The major ones are: Corporate Portfolio (comprised of all key projects and programs) and sub portfolio of ICT & Supply Chain & Business projects. In addition, PMO provides support to the other portfolio’s (eg Manufacturing or EMCD) where needed.
- Set up organizational governance models in relation to the different portfolio’s.
- Define the PMO Programs & projects planning and resource management based on the defined & prioritized programs & projects in the Governance Board.
- Initiates new programmes and projects.
- Closes down or kills programmes and projects where necessary.
- Develop & maintain processes for gathering and reporting consolidated program/project data, schedules & follow-up
- Establish roles & responsibilities, processes & procedures and tools & methods for PMO.
- Quality assurance on the Projects & Governance Board, in close cooperation with all stakeholders defined within EMEA.
- Manage this in close cooperation with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Tracks the key project deliverables
- Tracks the realisation of benefits.
Assist the EMEA departments budgeting forall PMO and related programs & projects.
- Assist in Program and project costing working together with all stakeholders.
- Work together with business, department leaders, & business owners on projects to align the PMO portfolio to the company’s objectives, while respecting budget and resource constraints.

Leads the Master Data Management team, responsible for the creation and maintenance of customer, vendor and Materials data.

- The BPO and BPE’s take overall responsibility for the End-to-End processes, making sure that the IT/process solution adequately covers the needs of the business covering all business unit, divisions and affiliates.
Skills and personality
- Master's degree, preferably in economics, finance or engineering.
- Experience in settings up a strategic PMO and related maturity models. (P3M3, CMMI & P3O).
- Experience with organizational governance models in relation to the different management domains.
- Proven track in successfully delivering complex projects and programs and a deep knowledge of processes and concepts as Work Breakdown Structure, Product Breakdown Structure, Network Diagrams, ...
- Knowledge of one of the major Project Portfolio Management tools and specifically Microsoft Project Management tools.
- Certifications in the domain of project & program management are mandatory (Prince 2, MSP or PMBOK).
- Extended people management experience in a multi-cultural environment. You have the strong listening skills and you know how to ask the right questions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Experience in working with and influencing executive stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic, passionate and well-organised professional with a hands on attitude who is eager to build world class PMO with his/her pro-active attitude.
- Good working knowledge of English (written and spoken). Other languages are an advantage.
