The Market Access Team of the company we are searching for has a strong track record of reimbursement achievements in innovative and fast-evolving disease areas. The team is a key enabler and crucial requirement in the success of the company. As they strongly value the importance of development, they have one of the colleagues of the Market Access Team picking up a new role. That’s why they are looking for you to join the Market Access team.

A day in the life of an Access Engagement Manager

An Access Engagement Manager is able to make a difference to patient’s life every day. Sounds interesting, right?

The Access Engagement Managers develop strategic plans and take the lead position representing Access within a Customer Driven Team (CDT). Yes, you will be part of a CDT together with Marketing, Medical & Customer Engagement roles. You will be a strong business partner to them. Together with the CDT colleagues, you develop and implement a market access strategy to ensure fast access for patients. Don’t worry you are not alone! You can count on the expertise of 4 other Access Engagement Managers and you will get the support of 2 Access Value Managers and 1 Health Economics Manager to develop relevant messages for our health authorities and in preparing key elements of the reimbursement files.

You will shape the payer environment and share relevant information to inform and shape opinion regarding the value of our products. Next to shaping our local environment, you will also contribute to the Global Access Community by participating to international projects and sharing knowledge on common issues.

One of your main responsibilities will be to develop Pricing and Reimbursement (P&R) files and follow-up during the procedure end of course develop. You will develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge on P&R criteria used by payers to make informed decisions about payer strategy, plans and tactics

If we could dream... how would you look like?

You would be someone with a Master in Economics or Science, with 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry and at least 3 years of experience within Market Access. What else are we dreaming of?

You have an excellent understanding of and experience in drug pricing & reimbursement and listing processes. You are a clear communicator and have the ability to explain things in comprehensive way. This will also help you in establishing strong relationships with our external customers. Market access comes with a high amount of information, so clearly you are an expert in analysing and managing a high amount of information, so you can contribute to market access files and develop robust action plans. Furthermore you master French & English, both written and orally. A good level of Dutch is of course an asset.
