Hospital Sales Manager BeLux

Job description

PURPOSE

We are looking for a high-performing Hospital Sales Manager to drive the sales team forward and to obtain revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to the upper management. As a Hospital Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the strategic sales plan for the company’s entire hospital business in strong collaboration with the Marketing Director and the Commercial Director
  • Work closely together with the marketing department
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing your sales team consisting of Key Account Managers Hospital & Tendering
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Key Account Managers Hospital & Tendering. Make sure they obtain or exceed the goals by being a leader and monitoring of achievements
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales & revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify the portfolio strategy and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status in order to obtain a balanced and profitable product portfolio.
  • Identifying opportunities for new segments
  • Evaluate the profitability of the existing portfolio and the efficacy of the tactics implemented in an analytic way
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

  QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience in the hospital business and knowledge of the hospitals in Belgium and Luxembourg
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Proven track record as Sales Manager in the pharmaceutical/med tech industry in BeLux
  • Perfectly trilingual (Dutch, French English)
  • Result oriented with a strategic focus on sales
  • Actively engage in developing new business
  • Demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges
